New Entrants: September 2026 Information
Choosing the first school for your child is one of the most important decisions you make as a parent. If your child was born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022, they will be eligible to start school in September 2026.
Applications open for Hampshire residents on Saturday 1st November 2025. The deadline for submitting your application is Thursday 15th January 2026.

The national notification date for on-time applicants is 16th April 2026.If you applied online, you will be sent an e-mail confirming the outcome of your application on the notification date. You can also log into the online system to view the outcome.
If you applied using a paper form, you will be sent a letter on the notification date by post. Please allow 2 to 3 working days for your letter to arrive.
Moving schools In-Year?
If you are thinking about transferring your child from another school during the school year please give us a call on 01329 662025 for infants or 01329 662087 for Juniors.
Parents are able to access the application form to complete via hants.gov.uk/admissions. Parents will be notified of the outcome of their application and details about a right to appeal within 10 school days.
